Hammer Robert Snodgrass has shown once again why he is a man of the people when it comes to West Ham fans.

The Scotsman was the first player to go right up to the away fans at the final whistle at the Amex Stadium on Saturday taking Fabianski, Diop and Rice with him to applaud the Claret and Blue away army.

After the game, he openly mingled with West Ham fans outside the stadium and allowed supporters to take selfies with him.

One supporter on social media messaged Snodgrass saying ‘don’t think it goes unnoticed’ referring to his effort to thank fans for travelling away supporters while another called for him to captain West Ham when Mark Noble wasn’t playing.

Snodgrass has taken West Ham fans and the club into his heart and that goes a long way for supporters who love a player with passion who gives 100% commitment to the club on and off the pitch.
