Soucek in “paradise” at the Hammers

Tomas Soucek is obviously hoping and praying he will be a West Ham permanently because  he is a man in “paradise.”

In an interview with  Slavia Prague’s official YouTube channel  he has spoken for the first time about how he feels at the club and it’s all great news for Hammers fans.

The Czechoslovakian Player of the Year has looked very much the real deal and with Jarrod Bowen has clearly become on of the best signings we have made for a while – albeit on loan – with an option to stay if we remain in the Premier League.

With him on board, and the team’s performances improving game on game, there a better than even money chance that will happen.

ClaretandHugh makes no bones that we have been enormously impressed and his individual training regime has been carefully monitored by the Moyes management team who are enormously impressed.

And there’s every chance that should we be playing at the top level next season he could easily be the man wearing the skipper’s armband.

He told the You Tube channel: “I admit I didn’t expect it to be such a change.”

“I’m glad to be here. It’s a paradise, from those picking me up at the airport to the team and the people around.

“I like historic teams, and that’s West Ham. We went to the centre and the first person to recognise me was a worker who just got out of the canal.

“He was crossing his arms like the two Hammers West Ham have in their badge. In the sixty thousand capacity of the stadium, there are fifty-five thousand permanent fans.”
