Tomas Soucek has no intention of pushing for a new deal after his ultra successful season at the Irons.

The Czech midfielder has become one of the best loved players to don the claret and blue in such a short space of time and is excelling his own personal reputations behind the scenes as a perfect professional.

An adviser close to the defensive midfielder – speaking exclusively to Claretandhugh – has revealed that having signed a four year deal  he has no intention of pushing for more on an improved deal despite his amazing season.

He explained: “It becomes par for the course in this game for players who have a half decent season to start haggling and pressing for more but that really isn’t Tomas’ way and he would have more justification than 99 per cent of them.”

He is really living his dream as they say and also understands the financial difficulties his own club and others are experiencing.

Beyond being a terrific player who has helped transform the Hammers. He is a gentleman and a professional who refuses to  make waves. He really is a top bloke.”
