Spurs are set to tie up a £25m deal to sign Yves Bissouma later this week, if reports are to be believed, after David Moyes turned him down.

The Times reports that Tottenham have agreed a fee with Brighton to bring the midfielder into the club.

Bissouma was offered to West Ham by agents last week, as we reported, but Moyes opted against making a bid for the player.

The Times also claims that personal terms will not be an issue and Bissouma is now poised to undergo a medical and sign for the north London club.

The fee is so low because he has just one year left on his contract.

There is a police investigation hanging over Bissouma after he was arrested under suspicion of sexual assault in October and was released under investigation. He then played for Mali at the African Cup of Nations; he continues to await the outcome of the police case.
