Striker puzzle needs to be unravelled

Albian Ajeti’s signing is becoming more and more of a puzzle!

Does anybody out there know exactly why he’s around and unless we find out soon, the name Jordan Hugill comes creeping into one’s mind.

So far -apart from the Oxford humiliation  – he has barely played more than 10 minutes or so and we’re probably unlikely to recognise him in the street if he passed us by.

Bought for the same amount as we sold Chicharito for – and reputedly the same sort of box player who didn’t suit the system Pellegrini wanted to play – I’m confused by his presence along, no doubt, with many others.

Indeed, I think it might be half a decent idea to play him for the under 23s in the Premier League International Cup match at Rush Green tomorrow night because I for one want to see what he’s all about.

That won’t of course happen with things as they are but at some stage he is going to have to be let loose one would imagine.

It’s entirely unfair to judge on what we’ve seen but with many questions surrounding various players at the moment, the guy needs the chance to strut his stuff and show whatever it is he was bought for.
