Sullivan aiming to end the stadium issues

David Sullivan will meet with London Stadium bosses towards the end of summer in a major bid to sort out the issues that have caused bitterness between the two sides during last season.

The co chairman and the E20 bosses will met after the holiday season after all attempts to “get together” have failed apart from one brief meeting between Mayor Sadiq Khan  and Karren Brady.

Now there has been an agreement to meet up and Sullivan will lead the talks in an attenpt to get past the problems that have separated the two sides.

The London Assembly want the Hammers to pay more for taking more control and although no specific details of the club’s position has been made know a source said: “We genuinely want to help reduce the losses. they are suffering.

Revealing that Sullivan will lead the talks an insider said: “The club has much experience in running a stadium and with a willingness on both sides there is no good reason why there cannot be agreement.”
