Hernandez is different level

David Sullivan has declared that Slavn Bilic will get the three years he has signed up for and that he is expecting things to get better at the club.

Speaking to Gary Neville on Sky ahead of the game against Brighton the co chairman said: “He didn’t sign up for one or two years – he signed for three and he deserves that chance.

“I don’t think he knows his best team at the moment but I think we are improving and will get there.”

Meanwhile Bilic was confident that we could see a Lanzini/Chicharito partnership blossom tonight (Fri) saying: “That’s what we are looking for and there is no better player to give him the balls he required than Lanzini.

“I can feel the players are feeling better and we are improving here. It’s a great stadium and I think we have turned a corner.”

Of Andy Carroll’s absence he said: “He is an important player for us but we will continue to need the crosses put into the box.”
