David Sullivan is hoping a West ham fan supplies the information which leads to the ‘The Essex Spiderman,’ who attempted to burgle his home, being arrested and successfully prosecuted.

The club’s co-chairman has put up a £25,000 reward after the attempted burglary which actually saw the intruder make a successful into his home.

Sullivan told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “He got in, but bolted with nothing when my silent alarm tripped.

He drills through doors/windows. He’s only interested in watches and  jewellery-small, high value items.

Somebody must know who he is or where he’s selling his haul. I’m hoping a WHU supporter will help me catch him and earn themselves the £25k reward I’ve put up.”

And the co chairman explained: “He goes up straight walls, hence the nickname The Spiderman of Essex. I wish I’d known so many houses in such a confined area had been robbed as it would have made me change a few things.

It’s a long shot, but I’d like to capture him with the help of WHU supporters.”
