Co-chairman’s son Jack Sullivan has started a storm of speculation after reports that Hull City have accepted £10 million bids from both Burnley and the Hammers for Robert Snodgrass.

The teenager tweeted the single letter ‘S’  after the Sky Sports had reported the Tigers had decided the move was now down to the player has sought  an explanation!

However his cryptic one letter message that could have represented the ‘S’ in Scott Hogan although it now appears the Hammers have indeed moved to hijack Burnley’s attempts to land Snodgrass.

Sullivan jnr had teased his followers by simply tweeting the letter ‘S’ as the news broke with sources telling ClaretandHugh: “We can’t discuss, transfers until they are completed.”

However, that in itself gives strong indication that a deal is very much on unless the 29 year old decides on switching to Turf Moor .

That looked nailed on at one point in the last 24 hours but the BBC is reporting this morning: ‘The Tigers say the move is now down to the player and he has not yet gone for a medical at Burnley.’
