Swansea in ‘crazy’ Ayew move

West Ham have knocked back a move from Swansea for  Andre Ayew but not for the £12 million reported in some  media tonight.

The Hammers have received only a loan enquiry from the Premier League strugglers.

Chairman Huw Jenkins wants to take the player back to the club for the rest of the season with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

There is absolutely no chance of the Hammers agreeing to that particularly at a time when they are without Manu Lanzini, Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll.

And with Diafra Sakho desperate to leave, the prospect of allowing Ayew to walk away on a three month loan was tonight described as “craziness” by one well placed Irons insider.

However, should the Swans come back with a sensible cash offer the Irons will have a big decision to make although they will also face an urgent decision to bring a striker in with time in the window running out quickly.
