Much has rightly been said about the achievements of this paper thin squad of ours and rightly so!

What hasn’t been pointed out as regularly is what this squad has managed whilst carrying two or three serious passengers.

And that’s the reason Moyes has probably been scared, until there’s no reason not to gamble as he did yesterday, on playing one of two of them very often.

Fredericks, Yarmo, Kral, Vlasic, Masuaku and – he has to be included – Benrahma, who during a highly gutsy performance at Chelsea from various members of the B team managed to  stink the place out and was again subbed.

I was among those who was surprised that the manager let a sale go through which had begin before he arrived at the club simply because the bloke  isn’t a Moyes type at all.

I’m not sure quite what he is given his inability to beat men regularly – surely the mark of a creative PL player – and seems to be easy to read and unable to get on the end of things.

Moyes is now the number one man at the club – his fingerprints are all over the squad.

And it’s for that reason I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised were he to let the guy go if he gets a half way reasonable offer.

For me the fella simply isn’t good enough and whilst we won’t get our money back he needs to be gone.

Kral hasn’t had a sniff and Vlasic has been kept waiting on the back door step whilst the ex Bee buzzes around with little purpose and to no real effect.
