West Ham are ready to let Havard Nortvdeit leave in the summer as the fall-out from last summer’s dreadful transfer window continues.

Nortveidt hasn’t worn a Hammers first team shirt since the disastrous FA Cup humiliation by Manchester City on January 6 and should a club come in with a reasonable offer the Irons will cut their losses on the £38k a week midfielder.

Nortveidt has made just 13 Premier League  appearances several as sub notably to the out of favour Sam Byram since he arrived at the club, and has failed to make any sort of serious impact.

He and out of contract James Collins are earmarked for departures this summer with the central defender’s contract coming to an end whilst the club are still ready to entertain offers for Sofiane Feghouli.

ClaretandHugh was told: “We won’t stand in Havard’s way whilst James  is a player who could receives offers. Sofiane is of interest to a couple of European clubs.
