The new Ticket Exchange and forwarding functions will not be available for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Watford despite previous promises that it would be.

Back in July, WHUFC.com promised “Details of the brand new ticket exchange and forwarding system in place for the new season” but the scheme failed to launch for the first home hame of the Premier League against Bournemouth and now it appears that the Watford game will suffer the same fate.

Yesterday, ClaretandHugh were told that talks were ongoing with Ticketmaster with our source telling us: “We continue to meet with TicketMaster but  there is no progress on the final launch date but we are awaiting their update on Friday.  At present we cannot confirm it will launch pre-Watford.”

However this afternoon ClaretandHugh received an email forwarded by a 1966 season ticket holder which confirmed tha bade news. “Unfortunately the ticket trader for Watford will not be available, the club are working with Ticketmaster and the new stadium to get all things ready to enable this to function We are looking at the next home fixture for this to be operational. Please note that the ticket trader is at the clubs discretion so if activated for any fixture an email will be sent with full instructions. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
