Trevor Sinclair has named seven of his ex West Ham players in a best ever starting XI.

And I suppose it’s not surprising that he includes himself among the legends – Mr Sinclair has never been slow to ensure a discussion!.

Trevor is a very regular and outspoken pundit these days and is quite ready to discuss the good and bad as he sees it of West Ham United.

It’s  always easy to disagree but whether he should should NOT be in there is a topic which will no doubt occupy the thoughts of fans..

He retains a close relationship with the club via his work with talkSPORT and in fairness makes sure he does what everything required of a pundit in often being as controversial as possible.

After five years  with the Hammers, from 1998 to 2003, 177 games and 37 goals before moving on to Man City he became a hugely popular figure of course..

He picked out his best starting XI in which SEVEN of them are from West Ham including himself.

They are David James, Rio Ferdinand, Marc Vivien Foe (RIP), Michael Carrick, Eyal Berkovic and Paolo Di Canio.

Some eyes may be raised by the omission of the likes of Joe Cole, Frank Lampard and Jermain Defoe.

However, that’s Trevor for you – as controversial as it gets and no doubt there will be as many disagreeing as accept what he has to say.

Give us your Hammers magnificent seven!
