United and Arnie? No sleep to be lost here

The ‘Man U interest in Arnie’ story is bizarre.

There’s little to back it up apart from the player having been managed by Jose Mourinho nine years ago at Inter Milan when he was on loan.

A quick check reveals he made just THREE APPEARANCES.

Mourinho was in Innsbruck last night watching as Arnie assisted in the goal that gave the Austrians a 1-0 win over Russia.

However, it would be a surprise if he had made the trip to run the rule over a player he knows well from the Premier League.

CandH has made it’s own phone to West Ham call since the ‘story’ broke on SSN and was told by a top insider: There’s been no bid, no interest expressed and he’s not for sale anyway.”

So in the absence of an offer from Old Trafford, and perhaps more importantly, any agent involvement we can hope this one will go away as quickly as it emerged.

I don’t think there’s much sleep to be lost here although I have been in this game too long to be surprised by anything.
