Swansea are reportedly set to make  a £10million move for West Ham’s striker, Enner Valencia.

The twenty-six year old striker knows has slipped down the Hammers pecking order and with new strikers on their way to the club is likely to lose his starting place in the team. Slaven Bilic used him sparingly last season and with new strikers due to join he knows his chances will be limited.

The Hammers will let the Ecuadorian go for around £12m but a swap deal for reported  target Andre Ayew it very unlikely.

Swansea rejected a £10m bid for Ayew from Sam Allardyce and Sunderland in the January transfer window so value him at a similar price to Valencia.

The Ghana international, who scored 12 Premier League goals in his first season at the Welsh club, said that whether he stayed was in the hands of Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins.

“I think you should ask the chairman. If I have to stay, fine. If I have to leave, I have to leave. What is important for me is that I keep doing my work, and in football the truth of today is not the truth of tomorrow,’ Ayew told Sky Sports.

I’ve enjoyed the Premier League, I think it’s the best league in the world — the intensity, the determination from every team. Every game is difficult.’ He added: ‘I hope to stay in the Premier League if I leave, but I’m here at the moment at Swansea.’
