Zaza’s loan was originally intended to become a permanent deal after his 14th appearance with the Hammers but both parties are now looking for the emergency exit.
Valencia boss Cesare Prandelli has been promised funds to reinforce the squad after selling Paco Alcacer and Andre Gomes to Barcelona this summer for around £75 million.
Prandelli, who scouted Zaza during his time as Italy boss, is keen on reviving the striker’s flagging career and has made contact with the 25-year-old.
Zaza’s is goalless in eleven games this season, is keen to try his luck in La Liga according to his agents. He is even prepared to take a significant wage drop from his £68,000 per week deal to end his disappointing East London stay.
