We’ve heard his name 100 times or more and he’s been rumoured to be joing us ever since Slaven Bilic mentioned that he was a great admirer.

Now, today it’s finally been anounced officially – some time behind most of us – that Beskitas winger Gokhan Tore has signed for the Irons on lon with a view to a permanent £10 million deal.

His reputation has preceded him as a high quality player but the truth is that none of us know a great deal about the bloke and thus relax into the ‘Trust Slav’ defeault position.
