West Ham fans are almost split down the middle on captain Mark Noble’s immediate future.

Noble was missing from the team at Spurs yesterday (Sat) where the Irons were beaten in the dying minutes having held a 2-1 lead.

But the team probably performed better than at any time this season with Pedro Obiang producing a great performance in the Hammers engine room.

As a result ClaretandHugh asked its followers whether the same team should have another run-out at Manchester United – with the exception of suspended Winston Reid next weekend – or whether Noble should be brought back.

With just under 1,000 votes cast those believing Noble should be brought back numbers 383 votes ( 44 per cent) with 425 (49 per cent ) saying the team should remain the same but for Reid.

Seven per cent recorded a don’t know vote in one of CandH’s tightest ever polls.

The voting will close at midnight on Sunday with the fnal result being announced here tomorrow.
