Antonio’s availability for Watford a big issue

David Moyes’  will be looking for the Irons to cash in on an injury crisis and form slum at Watford when they  chasing their first away victory of the season a the weekend.

Watford have not picked up a point since beating Arsenal with defeats to Chelsea, Stoke and Everton, dropping from fourth to ninth and now facing the ‘new manager factor’ from the Hammers.

Javier Hernandez is a major doubt for David Moyes’ first game in charge after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty and the manager will be without Jose Fonte and Sam Byram.

Watford’s mounting injury concerns were worsened this week with a back injury to Christian Kabasele.

The defender is a slight doubt to face the Hammers, along with Heurelho Gomes, Roberto Pereyra, Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Prodl.

James Collins and Michail Antonio are nearing returns after ankle and rib injuries and given his knowledge of Collins, Moyes would probably like to include him in the squad if possible.

The manager’s team selection will be rely seriously on Michail Antonio’s availability because should he not be fit we look shy of right wing options to provide an aerial supply line to Andy Carroll.

The manager is bound to be temped to look at enigmatic Marko Arnautovic who will be looking for an early opportunity to impress himself on the new boss’ thinking.

However with so many unknowns on the Hammers fitness front it’s too early in the week to make any halfway reasonable suggestions on a probable starting X1.
