Wembley tickets go on general sale

Spurs have put their League Cup tickets against West Ham on 25th October on restricted general sale after it failed to sell out season ticket holders, members and those on the season ticket waiting list.

With a reduced Wembley capacity of 50,835 and a sold-out allocation of 4,800 to West Ham, Spurs had just 46,000 tickets to sell to their supporters but they are struggling to do so.

Spurs have 45,000 season ticket holders at Wembley with a further 47,000 claimed to be on the season ticket waiting list plus many tens of thousands of Lilywhite and all One Hotspur members who were also offered priority on tickets.

The restricted General Sale opened on Thursday morning at 10 am but as yet they have not sold out this fixture.

Just in case West Ham fans were thinking of snapping up some tickets in the home end,  supporters will need to be on the Spurs ticketing database as of Tuesday 19th September to be eligible to purchase tickets for the League cup fixture against West Ham.

Yesterday we revealed that West Ham sold out their allocation of 4,800 to season ticket holders with eight or more priority points with a senior source telling Claret and Hugh of their disappointment at the low allocation and that the club could have sold three or four times as many tickets to eager Hammers.
