West Ham feel cheated at Old Trafford

Manuel Pellegrini felt rightly cheated at half time at the Old Trafford one nil down when the Hammers could have one nil up had official decisions been made correctly.

Felipe Anderson’s goal was wrongly ruled offside by Graham Scott and TV replays clearly show it was onside but like many referee decisions, it was given against the visiting team in front of the home side at Old Trafford.

Moments later, the man in black gave a soft penalty against Robert Snodgrass which was duly converted by Pogba to take the lead. That was the 14th penalty to be awarded to Manchester United this season.

VAR cannot come soon enough to counter these poor decisions which change games.

West Ham has certainly shown the big team mentality today against Manchester United and was rewarded with an equaliser on the 50 minute thanks to Felipe Anderson with an assist from Manuel Lanzini.

West Ham has the upper hand in the second half and this certainly seems a winnable game if they continue with this approach.
