QPR are unlikely to fork out £10m of cash to sign Jordan Hugill permanently but could look to agree on a swap deal plus cash from the Hammers as an alternative.

The Hammers are interested QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze who is said to be valued at £12m.

Eze has just one year left on his deal at QPR and could leave for free next summer. The 21-year-old has racked up 12 goals and eight assists this season.

Primarily a number 10 who can play in from the left if needed, Eze looks to have a huge future.  He  has been with QPR since 2016 after joining from Millwall but this season has been a breakthrough campaign for him.

He has been linked with interest from Spurs, Arsenal Chelsea, Leicester City, Southampton, Newcastle and Sheffield United in addition to West Ham. The Hammers would possibly need to add a small amount of cash to the swap deal for it to be accepted.

27-year-old Hugill has notched 13 goals in 37 games this season for QPR while on. David Moyes raided his former club Preston North End to sign Hugill in January 2018 for £10m.
