West Ham chances of signing Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr from relegated club Watford took a boost this weekend.

Last month Claret and Hugh exclusively revealed David Moyes interest in the duo pointing out that the pair can play in a variety of forward roles

Watford sporting director Cristiano Giaretta confirmed both players are free to leave the club if their valuations are met.

Giaretta told the Watford Observer: “They would like to leave and have been looking at potential moves, but they are not causing us any problems.

“They are not banging on our door to get away as soon as they can.

“They will stay at the club if the market doesn’t deliver something we think is acceptable. In the same way Sarr stayed with us the last time we were in the Championship.”

Sarr made 22 league appearances for the club last season, with a total of seven-goal contributions.

Dennis made 30 league appearances for Watford having joined the club last summer from Club Brugge. In that spell, he scored 10 times and assisted a further six.

The Hammers are still in the hunt for Armando Broja as a primary target  so it not clear whether they would attempt to sign both Watford players if they land the Chelsea player
