West Ham will escape any Football Association following the ruling body’s decision to overlook West Brom midfielder Jake Livermore’s  after he climbed into the crow following horrific abuse.

And he too will not be penalised in anyway after being taunted by a so called West Ham supporter over the death of his baby son.

The individual responsible  told him ‘losing a baby is no excuse for failing a drugs test’ – a reference to Livermore testing positive for cocaine a year after his partner lost his son during childbirth.

The FA have spoken to him in the wake of last week’s incident. But they are understanding of the circumstances and have reminded him of the need to walk away from such potential flashpoints.

West Ham removed the offender from the stadium at the time and followed that by banning him and the FA  are satisfied that the the club have dealt adequately with the situation.
