West Ham is on target to exceed an eighty percent renewal rate a source close to the club have told Claret and Hugh.  Premier League clubs work on an 80/20 rule where eighty percent of current season ticket holder renew each season. However, we have been told the club are on target to exceed this with the majority of the 52,000 season ticket holders deciding to renew before next Wednesday’s deadline.

Premier League clubs generally work on an 80/20 rule where eighty percent of current season ticket holder renew each season with twenty percent leaving. However, we have been told the club are well on target to exceed this with the majority of the 52,000 season ticket holders deciding to renew at the London Stadium before next Wednesday’s deadline.

The source refused to give the actual percentage but said it was north of eighty percent meaning well over 40,000 have or will renew by Wednesday. It is bad news for the reported 55,000 supporters on the season ticket waiting list who have paid a tenner each.

The season ticket deadline is next Wednesday 31st May at 5pm with no exceptions or extensions.

The club is working with their ticket partner Ticketmaster to ensure no repeat of previous years where the ticket website crashed on deadline day from the sheer number of late renewals.

The Priority relocation window opens on Thursday 1st June and closes on Thursday 15th June with priority given to those forcibly moved from block 114 then in priority of the date you renewed your season ticket.

On Friday 16th June season tickets will go on sale to those at the top of the waiting list.
