A West Ham fan has won the celebrity version of BBC quiz game pointless.

LBC radio presenter Iain Dale who is the founder of the owner of West Ham fan site WestHamTillIDie.com appeared on BBC1 quiz show Saturday night.

The founding editor of West Ham Till I Die is also a season ticket holder at the London Stadium in the Billy Bonds Stand 1966 seats.

The celebrity current affairs edition is a  general knowledge quiz in which four teams try to come up with the answers that no-one else could think of.

Presented by Alexander Armstrong and co-host Richard Osman the episode featured John Pienaar, Ayesha Hazarika, Jacqui Smith, Camilla Tominey, Rachel Johnson, Martin Bell and Michael Fabricant in addition to Dale.

Dale wore a Claret suit and in the final asked whether a category could include the history of West Ham United.

It may be a pointless trophy but it is one more than Spurs have in their trophy cabinet in recent times 😉
