West Ham insist on game time for loanees
Speaking in the Sun newspaper Bardy said Loan spells are now an essential part of football saying Youth players on the fringes of first team football used to be those to go on loan, now proven stars are shipped off by their managers.
Adding “When regulations were codified, would Premier League members have predicted a star England player would have such trouble finding an employer that he spent a year in Italy and returned – still on loan – to this country. Talking about West Ham loaning players out she said “At West Ham, we insist on a financial penalty if our players do not get plenty of first-team time.”
