West Ham is believed to be interested Wolves’ right back, Dominic Iorfa as a summer target.
The 20-year-old star defender who is also an England Under 21 International is reportedly being tracked by Arsenal, Southampton , Crystal Palace in addition to the Hammers.
But Wolves manager Kenny Jackett says he has absolutely no interest in Iorfa being let go – and wants to build the team around him.
“I personally wouldn’t want to see him go,” Jackett said. “I think we need players in to improve us, rather than letting players go. I’m sure everybody at Wolves feels the same way as I do. We haven’t had any bids and like everyone at Wolves we want to improve the team, and build the team around Dominic, rather than replacing him.
Iorfa signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract at Molineux in November, tying him to the club until 2019. Jackett still said it would be ‘wrong’ to say that Iorfa definitely wouldn’t be sold if a ‘very, very big bid’ came in,
He added: “It’s obviously always a possibility, whenever you have players doing well, there’s always that type of speculation. I’ll be as determined as everybody at Wolves – we want to improve the team.”
