West Ham linked with another Bundesliga striker

West Ham have been linked with anotherBundesliga striker in the shape of Werder Bremen’s Max Kruse.

A report in the German paper Bild, claims the striker is of interest to West Ham and they have enquired about his availability.

As with all strikers this summer they are said to face competition from Premier League rivals Everton, West Brom, Southampton and Stoke who also are said to be tracking the 29-year-old. The Striker is said to be available for around £10.5m.

Kruse scored 15 goals in 23 Bundesliga games this season after he was hampered by injuries, forcing him to miss the opening 10 games. Kruse has also picked up 14 caps for Germany so far.

He was omitted from the Germany squad in March 2016 to face England after a nightclub incident in which where he lost £60,000 poker winnings in the back of a taxi. He was later hit with a further £20,000 fine from his club, Wolfsburg. He was left out of the 2014 World Cup winning squad for off-field reasons as well.
