West Ham make another rise in world money list
Real Madrid top the list with £439m of revenue with Manchester United the highest place Premier League side in 3rd place with £395.2m of annual revenue. Manchester City register 6th with £352.6m, followed by Arsenal 7th £331.3m, Chelsea 8th £319.5m and Liverpool 9th £298m. Spurs are also up one place to 12th with £195.9m with Newcastle and Everton occupying 17th and 18th places with £128.8m and £125.6m respectively.
The report says: “Galatasaray were narrowly pushed into 21st place by the return of West Ham United, who appear in the Money League top 20 for the first time since the 2005/06 season.”
All the Premier League listed clubs above are likely to rise their revenue significantly on the back of the new TV deal with comes in force next season where last place in the Premier League receives £100m TV money. West Ham’s move to the Olympic Stadium next season is also likely to gradually increase revenue to put initially above Everton and Newcastle in terms of revenue.
