West Ham Pie and Mash shop to close
A notice to customers said “Dear Customer, after 80 years of trading in East Ham we regret that the Nathan family have decided to retire from the Pie and Mash business. Our last day will be Saturday 26th May 2018. On behalf of the management and all the staff we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our customers old and new who have supported us over the many years we have been here.
Best wishes from the Nathan family and all the girls”
More recently Nathans has been delivering pre-ordered Pie and Mash to the West Ham United Supporters Club at Stour Place in Hackney Wick close to the London Stadium but this service will also cease.
The London Pie and Mash Company have a stall outside the London Stadium but at £6.50 for a single pie and mash West Ham supporters claim the price and the quality does not compare to Nathans.
