James Collins put West Ham ahead on the south coast within minutes but Dan Gosling levelled before half-time before setting up former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake to put the Cherries ahead.

Late in the second half goalkeeper Asmir Begovic slipped on a routine clearance to allow Arnautovic a simple leveller nine minutes from time.

Arnautovic thought he had won the game with another goal a minute from time, but Bournemouth netted a controversial late goal with Callum Wilson’s arm sparking a debate between officials before they (incorrectly) allowed the effort despite an offside in the build-up and handball!!!
