Tickets for West Ham’s Carabao Cup fourth-round tie with Manchester City on Wednesday night have sold out, meaning a 60,000 crowd is set to be the twelfth man at the London Stadium for the domestic cup match.

Manuel Lanzini’s goal defeated Manchester United in the previous round and this midweek game will be a club-record crowd in the EFL Cup.

Many families have snapped out tickets as it is school half-term holidays for most and the pricing of the tickets is very affordable for this game.

A large number of West Ham newcomers are expected to be present to the game encouraged by the Hammers excellent form as well as some supporters who have not been back to watch their club in person for some time.

Limited tickets remain for the next home Premier League match, against Liverpool on Sunday 7 November which will also sell out.

There is also a chance that the final home UEFA Europa League Group stage game against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday 9 December could sell out too with an average of 47,000 attending the first two Thursday night games
