West Ham transfer target Craig Dawson is training on his own at relegated West Brom after slapping in a transfer request says Daily Mirror journalist James Nursey.

Defender Dawson last week refused to go on the club’s training camp to Portugal and faces a fine. 28-year-old Dawson wants to quit and handed in a transfer request this week after Premier League duo Burnley and West Ham reportedly bid around £12m for him. Wolves are also said to be considering a bid. He is now training on his own at the club’s HQ.

Baggies boss Darren Moore still wants to keep him but West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is the one believed to be leading the chase for Dawson, who made 28 top-flight appearances during the previous campaign which saw West Brom relegated.
