West Ham to announce sleeve sponsorship deal

For the first time this season, Premier League clubs are allowed to display sleeve sponsors on their kits in the 2017/18 campaign.Shirt sleeve branding has been prominent throughout European leagues for years but has always been banned in the Premier League.

Top-flight clubs have been allowed to sell advertising on their shirt sleeves for the first time.The branding can be a maximum of 100cm2 and is available on the left sleeve only. The Premier League logo will still feature on the right. If they don’t sell the space, clubs will wear the Premier League logo on both sleeves. The advertising space has been valued at around 20 per cent of the main shirt sponsorship deal.
