West Ham turnover set to soar to £210m

West Ham are in for a bumper financial year despite the pandemic with turnover set to reach £210m for the period that finishes on Monday 31st May.

The Hammers are set to receive a massive £155m from broadcasters from last season.  Each Premier League received a £38m share plus for domestic TV rights £47m in overseas rights.

As every game was broadcast on TV every club also received another £38m in lieu of facilities payments. Finally the Hammers received £30m as a merit payment for finishing in sixth place.

Add to the £155m broadcast income £26m of TV income from the previous season that was deferred plus £20m in commercial activities and sponsorship and £8.5m in retail sales.

Ticket revenue for the year was reduced to around £500,000 with just two restricted games played in front of season ticket holders.

When you total it all up to the total revenue for the 2020/2021 reaches a record £210m breaking a previous record of £191m set in 2018/2019
