“Already in January came the first inquiry. So we were able to block something,” explains hotel director Heiko Kehrstephan speaking to the local press about the stay of West Ham.

Training will take part on nearby local pitches of Rotenburger SV at Sportanlage In der Ahe in Rotenburg, Wümme. The stadium has a capacity of 3,000.

The Hammers play Werder Bremen on Friday 28th July at the Osterwald Stadion in Schneverdingen as part of a two-legged Betway cup playing Bremen on Saturday 29th July at the Heinz-Dettmer Stadion in Lohne.

They then fly off to Iceland to face Manchester City on 4th August in Laugardalsvöllur.

Prior to Germany, the Hammers will spend 10 days in Austria between 10-21 July.  West Ham are thought to be returning to Bad Tatzmannsdorf to a state of the art football camp which includes a main pitch and an artificial pitch. The players will most likely stay at the luxury Avita Resort hotel just next door.
