What the OS wrap really looks like

Planning permission has now been approved for the alternative Olympic Stadium wrap. The new  alternative stadium mostly non-digital wrap has less West Ham United signs, smaller West Ham crests and a different Claret and Blue Olympic pattern than originally proposed. The new stadium’s sponsor red logo, thought to be Mahindra will also have prominent positions around the wrap as part of their 25-year naming rights sponsorship deal with stadium owners E20 LLP. The fabric wrap covers around 75% of the area vertically up to the roof steel structure. The fabric wrap will now be restricted to one giant TV screen located under the West Ham United sign.

The graphic displayed below from the official planning permission documentation is different to the artists impression used by the club’s official website who are still using a CGI based the original wrap design with added artistic license to emphasise the West Ham elements.
