When Clattenburg out-ran Ogbonna – this is horrendous!

There’s only one word to describe West Ham United at the moment – EMBARRASSING!

Last week’s defeat at West Bromwich Albion was shocking… awful… possibly the most heartless performance I’ve ever seen from a team in the claret and blue.

It horrified me and there is something very, very wrong with the set up at the moment and I believe that is probably related to the training ground where it looks to me as if the team are not doing anything like enough. They don’t look fit or up for it.

Take that appalling last schoolboy goal at the Hawthorns! I’ve watched the replay several times and can tell you that when it was cleared from the back the referee Mark Clattenburg out-ran Angelo Ogbonna and was 15 yards in front of him when the ball hit the net.

I think Ogbonna is a really good centre half but he’d given up and he wasn’t alone in that performance.

I’ve heard all sorts of stories about things at the club and what’s going on from people in the game but I take them all with a pinch of salt because these tales always arise when there are problems.

Things were bad enough against Watford and we all expected a response. There was… it got worse and that just won’t do… it can’t go on. It all stops with the manager and it has to be different this weekend. Let’s be brutally honest, we were even lucky to beat Accrington Stanley for God’s sake.

The players just aren’t doing it and nobody seems to be to bothered. In my day, players would have others up against the wall and Julian would have led the way.

But things seem to be passing everybody by and that can no longer be allowed. I will support this club to my dying day but I am not going to support these sort of performances and apparent couldn’t care less attitude from players at my club.

How we have got to this point after the events of last season I simply cannot fathom. It’s impossible to work out but it is horrible and it just won’t do.

On Sunday I want to see every player working at it until he drops. West Ham fans can take defeat but if everybody has given everything they can take it. What they won’t accept and nor will I is this lifeless sauntering around and  looking half fit and half interested.

Slav needs to get this right and very very fast. The owners are very tolerant and patient men with their managers but if these sort of performances go on he won’t have long.
