The UEFA Conference League could  be our option next season.

The Hammers face Brighton on the final day and have already guaranteed their qualification to the third-tier UEFA competition, but their final finish is up in the air.

If the Irons beat Brighton and Manchester United lose to Crystal Palace, David Moyes’ side can finish sixth and that would mean qualification for the Europa League.

The Conference League is still going on this season, with Roma set to play Feyenoord in the final.

Thus far, a variety of clubs have qualified for the Conference League.

The first qualifying round has 51 confirmed teams at this stage, with teams from countries such as Wales, Albania, Gibraltar, and San Marino all going into the hat.

In the second round, there are 38 teams with some more recognisable names such as Young Boys, Basel, Motherwell, PAOK and Slavia Prague.

FC Twente, Anderlecht, Dundee United, Zorya Luhansk and Lugano have qualified for the third qualifying round, while FC Koln, from the Bundesliga, are in the play-offs.

One club from each of England, Spain, Italy and France will qualify, while there will also be seven Europa League third-qualifying round losers who will enter at this point of the competition.

West Ham would enter the competition at the play-off round.
