Why has Moysie ignored this impressive youngster?

David Moyes has a decision to make which he seems unlikely to address at Watford tomorrow on recent evidence and the player’s name is Emmanuel Longelo!

I’ve been unable to understand why this young man has figured nowhere since his fine performance against Dinamo Zagreb in the final Europa League match.

I am told he has no current injury problems which makes his exclusion from squads since that match confusing given Arthur Masuaku has been involved.

Yes, I know it was a dead rubber and I know caution is required with younger players but this is a guy who had 87 touches on the ball and was man of the match for the Hammers in most pundits’ minds.

Yet  he has been ignored since despite the likes of Baptiste, Alese and Ashby being included in squads.

He of course fills a position where we currently have a serious problem so it seems particularly strange.

Moyes always has his reasons for taking a careful approach but the boy could not have done more and given all the circumstances it seems odd that he has not been included in first team affairs since Dinamo!

He has shown an ability to attack down the left which has been very much missing since Cress got injured so the subs bench at the very least please Mr Moyes!
