Borussia Dortmund winger Andriy Yarmolenko and his agent have arrived at the West Ham team hotel in Bad Ragaz ahead of a medical to confirm his transfer to the Hammers.

His agent Shablii Vadim who is the CEO of the Prostar football agency gave the game away by posting a photo of the view from the West Ham team hotel this evening. Prostar was founded by Nick Rubbery who is the agent of former Hammer Ravel Morrison.

The 28-year-old winger is expected to complete a £17.5m move from Germany this week. The Ukraine international has been given permission to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical in Switzerland by his club who made an announcement they were in negotiations with another club over his sale.

Yarmolenko only joined Dortmund last summer from Dynamo Kiev for £22m but struggled to find his best form in the Bundesliga and they have decided to cut their losses on him.

Should Yarmolenko pass his medical he is set to become the club’s fifth new signing of the summer following the arrivals of Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski and Jack Wilshere
