West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and striker Andy Carroll will not be charged by the Football Association over their comments about referee Jon Moss the FA have confirmed.
Bilic has been “reminded of his responsibilities” and Carroll “warned as to his future conduct” after the duo criticised Moss following the 2-2 draw with Leicester City on 17th April.
Carroll said Moss tried to “even things up” with the award of a late penalty. Bilic suggested the referee had been “influenced” by the home crowd.
Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, Jamie Vardy has been given a one-match suspension with immediate effect, fined £10,000 and warned as to his future conduct.
The Leicester City forward had accepted an FA charge of improper conduct following his second half dismissal against West Ham United on Sunday 17 April 2016. Meanwhile, Leicester has been fined £20,000 after accepting an FA charge of failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. The standard penalty, which the club accepted, followed an 83rd minute incident during the same fixture against the Hammers.
