Felipe Anderson spotted out with David Luiz

West Ham seventh signing Felipe Anderson has been spotted out dining with David Luiz causing some to speculate that Chelsea is preparing a late bid for the 25 year old Brazilian winger from Lazio.  However, there should be no concern as Anderson has already signed his West Ham contract so if the new Chelsea wanted him it would need to pay West Ham double want we paid to buy him.

There is a far more innocent explanation.  The Mayfair restaurant in question is part-owned by fellow Brazilian David Luiz along with Chelsea’s Willian and football agent Kia Joorabchian.

Social media footage of Felipe Anderson and David Luiz showed them with the agent Gustavo Santana in the posh Italian Mayfair restaurant called Babbo which is a favourite haunt for footballers and agents alike.

In another social media photo, Felipe Anderson was captured making the crossed Hammers sign next to the Babbo mural.

Anderson should be officially announced by West Ham later this morning as he becomes the club’s record signing in a deal which could eventually cost £46m with Anderson signing a five-year contract thought to be worth over £100,000 per week.
