Javier Hernandez is hoping to make his Hammers return from injury at manchester City.
ClaretandHugh revealed earlier today the striker was returning to training and now Chicharito has confirmed he is close to making his comeback from injury.
He said: “Hopefully I’m close to returning. Hopefully this week I can get involved with the team, we’re going to see.
“With this type of injury you have to be careful because it is a hamstring and sometimes the best thing is that you [don’t rush] but I’m feeling very good.
“Of course I have memories of playing against Manchester City but that game is at the end of the week. We have a midweek game against Everton away first and we need to think step-by-step. We will try to get the three points there.
“We’re coming up to the busiest time in the Premier League. Hopefully for us and the Hammers fans it will be a good moment.”
