West Ham’s famous Insider has revealed this everning that the club are at “an advanced stage of negotiations to sign a top international forward.”
ClaretandHugh reported this morning that our best source claims that will be Simone Zaza and should that turn out to be the case it will be a massive statement of intent by the Irons.
Writing on the official site the Insider writes: “The Club have been strongly linked with moves for Wilfried Bony, Loic Remy and Simone Zaza and my sources have confirmed to me that the Club are at an advanced stage of negotiations to sign a top international forward.
“It is my understanding that the Club will discover in the next 48 whether the deal will be finalised and they are 75 per cent confident of getting their man.”
We have blacked out the eyes of the man believed to be the Insider in order to hide his identity! 🙂

A waste of money just like Nordsvelt – even on a free he is a total waste of salary. Now forget about this deal unless it is a loan deal. I don’t think it is even a good loan.
I thought Nordveidt was one of our only players that played with his head up, he overhit a couple of medium range diagonal passes but imo anyway he was playing well, he certainly shouldn’t have been subbed for Valencia what will that do for his confidence, I thought they should have taken Reid off for Fletcher, played 3 at the back with Nordveidt dropping into the right cb position when needed but what does it matter we are out now and we will only be playing Saturdays and Wednesdays now we are out of Europe so a lot of tv revenue down the swanny.
Btw whoever this insider is, could you mention to him not to reference Zaza as a top international forward in the same sentence because if he does I am really worried who us making the decisions over signings. A top international forward is Cavani, Bacca, Suarez, Aguero. This guy is not even at the next level from what I have seen of him.
