Kouyate linked with summer exit claims agent

sentoffkouyateCheikhou Kouyate could be headed for a summer exit according to agent Saffet Balkan.

The agent who claims to represent the West Ham player claims the Senegal international has received a lot of interest from rival Premier League sides and the Serie A.

Balkan has been quoted on Turkish-Football.com that he has been contracted by several Italian and Premier League sides.

“We have received a lot of interest,” Balkan told Turkish-Football.com.

“Interest spiked after Senegal qualified for the World Cup yesterday. Several clubs and agents want to hold talks.

“The Italian and Premier League scouts have been very impressed.”

Kouyate is very happy in England, he’s settled into life,” he added.

“There are no offers on the table at this stage, we will hold talks and consider our options.”

The report also claims there been interest from the Super Lig but his €30 million price tag has proven a stumbling block.

Kouyate has a contract with the Hammers until June 2021 but in the past, his agent has used speculation in the press to help with improved terms for his client.

Seriously consider cashing in come January and investing in younger legs. he hasn’t truly turned up this season and if we really do have to generate our own transfer kitty, then he and Sakho can move on. We need players who are committed to the cause and this isn’t the first time Cheks agent has spouted this rubbish.

He might just be tired of the Sakho situation / case as well. They are fellow citizens and team mates on the Senegal squad. Kouyate’s performances have declined coincidentally as Sakhos status worsened at the club….

Would be a shame to see him go, if there was any truth in these rumours. I think he is a very positive guy with a good attitude, his performances under Bilic were inconsistent but I hope with more structured training we will again see the best of him as a midfield powerhouse.
