Rooney to make come back at Boleyn Ground

Rooney_2860353b Manchester United say Wayne Rooney is poised to make a comeback at the Boleyn Ground on Wednesday in the FA Cup sixth round replay.

Wayne Rooney started tonight for Manchester United Under 21’s in a game at Old Trafford  against Middlesbrough U21’s. He was replaced on sixty minutes unscathed.

Rooney continues his recovery from a knee injury but Louis van Gaal was cautious about the striker’s sharpness upon his return. “We have to wait and see if that is the case,” Van Gaal said. “He shall play on Monday 60 minutes. We will see how he is doing because he is more than two months out of the game. “Of course he is a great striker but he has to show already if he is in certain shape. It is always like that.”

Rooney has scored 11 goals in all competitions for Manchester United this season including seven in his last eight outings.

  1. Thanks ref,
Another person who loves playing against us returns, when the result should be over,
But we are still better then them and again we go up against a poor defence,
That includes Smalling who we do not need at our club,
2 days to think positive thoughts no more Sakho,Song,Moses, issues,
No more refs and Lino mistakes,
Just 100% positives,Mata against Payet no brainer,Lanzini or Fallini no brainer,
Carrick against Kouyate no brainer Rooney or Carroll score draw,
They may edge it in the keeper front just, but as a whole team we rate 10 points more at least plus we have 30,000 fans advantage and Form,
That should counter balance playing against the officials
3-1 but Carroll only gets 1 this time

  2. Let them play him, start him bubs.He ain’t going to be match fit the fat b#stard,we will run rings round him 😉

  3. Hope he brings a new syrup ! Cos its gonna get blown off !!
If carol plays it cool , smalling will give a pen away for holding in the box , he is a serial fouler, as is blind !!
Its the young connection that I don’t like , he should be a ice skater cos he’s always on his ass , diving !!!
    I still think the ref will play a part , why wouldn’t I ?

  4. Let’s hope the ref evens things up this time as its not involved in the Premier conspiracy,
Any way they are trying to dig the dirt on Leicester now to try and sink their ship,
Fat or not he like to score against us just like Luluka
