Slav and AC feel hard done by!

bilicacBoss Slaven Bilic and striker Andy Carroll both made it clear they felt seriously hard done by after an extraordinary affair at Leicester this afternoon.

A last second penalty gave 10 man City a share of the points after Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell had cancelled out the Foxes 1-0 lead via Jamie Vardy’s opener.

The striker was later sent off for a second bookable offence after a blatant dive in the box.

Bilic declared: “We are gutted, we did enough to win the game, before last five seconds. The game went that way, hard for referee with the crowd. I feel for him. Although It was not a penalty.

“On one hand Leicester is right, it is not a penalty, they have been doing this all year.

“We showed character and quality, even in the first-half. They scored from counter-attack but we didn’t lose shape, we coped well in second-half with counterattacks after equaliser we didn’t stop searching for a second goal. Cresswell scored a great goal and then that happened. We did enough to win the game and deserved to win it.”

And Carroll snapped: “”A couple of decisions were not the greatest and got them a draw.

“I am surprised he didn’t give our penalty earlier and at the end I feel like he has tried to equal it out. l think that is what he was going for, he ran straight into me.”

Johnham1 i am electing you for our next manager as you clearly have much more knowledge and football savvy than Slav. NOT. You are, quite honestly, a very stupid and annoying C##T. Why don’t you f##k off to another site where they’ll all agree with you and you can be the hero you obviously crave to be. I seriously doubt you are a Hammer cos you never stop sniping at us.

They have spent all season being a niggly team.Huth & Morgan have got away with murders in the penalty area many times this season.Vardy is always looking for the slightest touch as is Mahrez, but listen, they don’t play the type of football I could ever watch week in week out but they are good at what they do & if it wins them as a lesser team the league then fair play to them & Ranieri.Watch them struggle next season though!!!

They deserve to win the league and good luck to them, but they have been incredibly lucky with injuries. They wont be so lucky next year, so they need to do enormous business in the summer. They will struggle next year, with all the extra european games.

Actually I’m not too disappointed because I feared we could lose that game badly, so it’s a good sign that we came from behind yet again.
A question. Is that the secret of Leicester ‘s remarkable success, that they are better at extracting favourable decisions from referees?

Was there ever any hope that this one would end any other way than yet one more questionable decision going against us.

we played a very good game having more shots than them. They only scored with a counter attack, while we were attacking. How many shots did they have on target the whole game.
Vardy was disgraceful and deserved to go, but Carroll should have known it was risky to lunge when it wasn’t necessary.
    Absolutely sick we didn’t win.
I thought the Carroll penalty was correct but as people here say it wasn’t, I will look again at the recording.

By the way, congratulations to Bilic and the team. 54 League goals this season which is the highest we have ever achieved in a Premier League season.

5 points away from our highest ever points total and certain to finish with our first ever premier league positive goal difference.

Despite the crap referee’s doing us over all the time, this has been a fantastic season full of entertainment.

    In Slaven Bilic we trust!!

slav and ac are correct. Not a penalty. Referee has cost us two points yet again.

I hate to say it and I will be lynched for saying it but we deserved nothing more. We were awful and the team selection was awful. We played poorly, too slow without any pattern. Ogbanna should have given a pen away, poor game. Cresswell pick of back 4. Need Tomkins at RB. Noble shocking, feel sorry for Obiang. As for Carroll I will never know why he is even on the pitch. We were pathetic. Sakho and Valencia up top please on Wed night with Emmenike and Carroll on bench, to be fair to Emmenike he tried his best.

You are clearly trolling. Go troll somewhere else.

Shocking? yet we were seconds away from beating the league leaders on their own turf and would have done if not for a very very very poor referee decision.

The fact you have said you want to see Enner Valencia up top is enough to tell us all you know sweet FA about football.

      • PennsylvaniaHammer says:

Amazing how having an opinion is now classed as trolling. I think some of his points were well made. You might not agree but it’s hardly wind-up stuff is it?

        • Stinger says:

It’s clear trolling and going on his previous he has form for it. Plus no he has not made any valid points at all.

So my opinion is he is a troll.

          • PennsylvaniaHammer says:

I’d say “…Cresswell pick of back 4. Need Tomkins at RB…” are both valid points.

  • RickHammer says:

Was going to commend the ref on making some brave decisions with our pen & Vardy sending off then he f..led it all up in the last few seconds!

Never a penalty. Won the ball cleanly.

“Same old West Ham, always CHEATED”

Football needs to wake up and realise we are now in the 21st century.
